Lily's shop

It seems my new posts are somehow linked to the older one's,funny but true and this one is no exception.....I have got some juicy fresh news on Lily, this morning she had an interview on the radio and it seems she is going to stop making music for a couple of years to focus on fashion. Previously she designed a range for New Look and worked with Chanel but now she wants to go further into fashion and she is going to open a shop called Lucy in Disguise with her sister. It is all about bringing designer to customers for affordable price...put the look together and hire it out. Not that original but we shall see....would you be a customer or do you think miss Allen should stick to music?

Chanel likes Lily

I decided to continue the theme of celebs and designers working together for the next post. For people who are not aware, and you should be, because it is all over the Vogue, Elle and so on....Lily Allen is the face of new campaign for Chanel and to be honest, I am not surprised because previously, Karl Lagerfeld said he likes her and her style,she is wearing and is big fan of Chanel and she even sang this year on Chanel show.....and to be honest...I kinda like it,it's cute and kinda classy....Do you like it?Or is Lily for Chanel too far? Look who is the face of new campaign for Dolce & Gabbana

As many of you will know, Madonna has been face of Louis Vuitton for two campaigns now and they were working brilliantly together but now the time has come to end that but Madonna does have some other offers,turns out that now she is going to be the face of Dolce & Gabbana's new Sicilian inspired campaign and it has been already shot in New York.The Italian designers chose her to be the face of the campaign because of her sensuality and because of her Italian heritage....interested in seeing the pics?I know I am....as soon as they are realeased,they are here...

I am sure many of you heard the news but for the one's who haven't.....Luella went bust. Luella's investor decided to pull out the investment in the last minute, after the new collection was ordered and was ready to go on sale and now there is no other option for the business than close it's doors but it's not all that bad....you can buy Luella stuff online for half price.....are you still here?;)

Gucci...the film

It seems that more and more fashion is turning into film.....First, there was Coco before Chanel, than we find out that Tom Ford is directing and now it turns out that there will be a film about the rise of the fashion empire that is Gucci.....Angelina is rumoured to play?Excited? I know i am...love Gucci!!!!!

It seems that there is nothing for Leeds!!!

Hey you guys, I know i haven't been here for a while but I am back and guess what.....after going on and on about Jimmy Choo for H&M, I found out that it is only in stock in the major shops, two in London, one in Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow.....and that means nothing for Leeds....sorry to be a bearer of bad news;(

Just found out that peacocks have got new collection which includes sequined pices and has got lots of new lace dresses but the more interesting is that the face of the new collection is Daisy Lowe.You can see below Daisy showing off new pieces.

Jimmy Choo for H&M-sneak peak

I am sure you all heard about Jimmy Choo range for H&M, well here is some info on that.There is going to be 40 pieces and they include handbags,shoes,clothing and jewellery. Prices range from £14.99 for jewellery, through to £149.99 for a leather dress and £179.99 for thigh high boot. The cheapest pair of shoes is zebra-print studded ballet pumps for £49.99.
The full collection will be previewed on the H&M website on October 29 and will go on sale on 14th on November.Below are some images showing some of the new items,like it or not?let me know.....

A Single Man

We all know Tom Ford as being a fashion designer. He used to work in Gucci and now he has got his own label. He is one of the biggest figures in men's fashion and now he has tried his hand at directing. He directed,co-produced and co-wrote a new film called "A Single Man" which is about a gay man in sixties LA. The main character is played by Colin Firth, he is an english professor whose long-term partner died and now he tries to get back to normal. The film has got loss, love, death, friendship and laughter. If you ask me, it has got it all!!!It also got flashbacks and dream sequences.....hmmm...interesting. Promises tears and laughter. It can be a masterpice and it can be a flop.We shall see. I am personally surprised that the fashion designer is directing.You don't see that often. As well as directing this film he already is working on the next one and he has got new women's line coming out....it looks like he is busy,busy,busy and there is more to come.

Pretty girl,Bad boy and Armani

It has been confirmed that Megan Fox and Cristiano Ronaldo are the new bodies and faces of Armani Jeans and Armani Underwear. They are going to be in the new spring/summer 2010 campaigns and as you all know, they are taking over from David and Victoria Beckham but unlike the golden couple they are not going to be together in the shots.Sooooo.....do you think they have got that Armani look or not?Are Beckhams irreplacable?Megan is beautiful but in the press she seems kinda like a bad girl and he is not bad looking himself but has got a reputation too....Let me know what you think....

Lindsay for Emanuel

I don't know if you have noticed but many celebs started to design. Justin Timberlake,Nicole Richie,Paris Hilton,Nicky Hilton,Gwen Stefani,Mary-Kate Olsen to name just a few and now Lindsay Lohan.She already has some items designed but now she also tried her hand at being an artistic advisor for Emanuel Ungaro fashion House.She worked together with Estrella Archs who is a designer and the collection was fairly simple.It was young and had the colours which this label is known for.It had plenty of pink and some black,white.Dresses were short and the heart shape was featured throughout.Many people were interested what would come out of the designer-celebrity collaboration and the opinion was devided. Many people were thinking that the collection was an insult to the designers but many also thought that it is an impressive start for Lindsay.Sooooo.....what you guys,the lovely public think?Is it good or should it be put away and forgotten.Below are some more pics to help you make your mind up;).....

Work it Victoria Style

I knew for some time now that Victoria Beckham has got her own collection but I never really saw it?Did you see it....well,if you are like me....haven't seen much,lol....here is some of the stuff she unveiled at the New York Fashion Week.



I personally thinik this is quite nice.Most of the designers have chosen white,cream and black as their colours for spring/summer 2010 and Victoria with the handful of other people went for bold colours.Love it!!!!Dresses are elegant and sophisticated,got some structured elements and we like it!!!!People who would like to show their body off will be put off the dresses below but they are bold and elegant and black one is especially nice with it's structured shoulders.









Above some more items from the collection.Simplistic,bold colours,some structured pices and there is even purple piece,which we all know is hot,hot,hot right now.Looks like Victoria came up trumps with her new collection.

Back with a Bang!!!

I know that everyone is talking about it and it is everywhere but I can't ignore it....and by "it" I mean Burberry's show!This was one of the biggest comebacks. Christopher Bailey's new collection was amazing.It featured plenty of tailoring for women and men and the colour of choice was warm,cream colour and because this was Burberry's comeback to London plenty of celebs attanded the show.People like Victoria Beckham,Emma Watson,Gwyneth Paltrow and Agyness Deyn were there.



Anna Wintour, and for those people who don't know her (shame on you) she is editor-in-chief of American Vogue,she came back to her homeland and attanded the show.It was finished with the silver confetti and I say that is a very nice ending to the wonderul London Fashion week it was.





As these pictures show warm,soft colours are present and Burberry's staple trench coats are back.I love the design of the dresses,it is interesting and looks nice,yet it is not too complex.I love the simplicity of Bailey's design.Also,as I said big platforms were worn and I love that models are wearing those with socks.Thats original;)

This is my first post on my new blog...exciting stuff....so I decided to make it even more special by checking out one of the hottest trends at London Fashion week and of course I am talking about big shoulders.Who would have thought that big 80's shoulders will be back in 2009?At first you kinda think that it is not going to work but the designers have made some tweaks and changes and it looks hot,HOT I tell ya!!!!So it looks like it will be hard to give this trend a cold shoulder,lol.Even celebs like Rihanna and Victoria are stepping out in suits and dresses with those big shoulders.

Looks like the autumn is going to be cold and the shoulders are going to be big.Check out this dress from Balenciaga.....hmm....isn't it a bit too far and can you even walk in this?This is what I call structured dress!!!!
